Faro di Monte Poro
Il faro di Monte Poro è un faro marittimo del mar Tirreno che si trova sull'omonimo promontorio lungo la costa meridionale dell'isola d'Elba, territorio comunale di Campo nell'Elba, a sud-ovest dell'abitato di Marina di Campo. Ad alimentazione elettrica e ad ottica fissa, la luce è prodotta da un lampeggiatore a led. Il faro è dotato di sistema di telemonitoraggio.

Il faro fu attivato nella seconda metà del Novecento per l'illuminazione del tratto costiero che chiude a sud-ovest la baia di Marina di Campo.
L'infrastruttura è costituita da una torre a sezione circolare in muratura bianca che poggia su un possente basamento in calcestruzzo. Sulla sommità della torre poggia il basamento circolare del tiburio della lanterna metallica, provvista di lente di Fresnel.
Poco a nord del faro si trova una palazzina che originariamente ospitava il personale.
Batteria di Difensa Costiera di Capo Poro
Con la denominazione E 189 nel Sistema Difensivo della zona Piombino-Elba, la Batteria di Capo Poro era armata con 4 pezzi da 102/35mm. Per la difesa antiaerea e antinave. I pezzi venivano controllati da una Centrale di Tiro, mentre il sistema di avvistamento era dotato di aerofoni e riflettori fotovoltaici per l'avvistamento notturno. La condotta della Batteria era affidata ad una Comandante della Regia Marina coadiuvato da una trentina di uomini di vario grado.
All'alba del 17giugno '44 la Batteria fu attaccata dagli uomini del Batallion de Choc guidati dal cap. Carbonnier pochi secondi prima delle 03,45 mentre l'ora H per lo sbarco sulla spiaggia di Marina di Campo era previsto per le 04,00.
L'attacco raggiunse lo scopo prefissato e dalla Batteria E189 non fu sparato alcun colpo contro la Forza da Sbarco 255 composta da piú di 200 imbarcazioni alleate.
Coastline Defense Battery of Capo Poro
With the denomination E 189 of the Defense System of the area of Piombino-Elba, the Capo Poro Battery was armed with 4 pieces of 102/35mm. For the anti-aircraft and anti-ship defense the batteries were controlled by a power plant in Tyre, while the warning system was equipped with aero phones and photoelectric equipment.
The leadership of the Battery was assigned to a Commander of Royal Navy supported by about thirty men of various degrees.
At dawn on June 17th 1944 the Battery was attacked by soldiers of Battalion de Choc led by Capt. Carbonnier a few seconds before 03.45 AM, while H hour for landing on the beach of Marina di Campo was scheduled for 04.00AM. The attack reached its intended purpose and from Battery E 189 not a single shot was fired against Landing Force 255 composed of more than 200 Allied ships.
Monte Poro lighthouse
The Monte Poro lighthouse is a maritime lighthouse in the Tyrrhenian Sea which is located on the promontory on the southern coast of the island, the municipality of Campo nell'Elba, to the southwest of the town of Marina di Campo. For electrical and fixed optical power, the light is produced by an LED flasher. The lighthouse is equipped with a remote monitoring system.
The lighthouse was activated in the second half of the twentieth century for the lighting of the coast, to the south-west the bay of Marina di Campo.
The infrastructure consists of a tower with a circular section in white masonry that rests on a mighty concrete base. On the top of the tower stands the circular base of the lantern of the metal lantern, equipped with a Fresnel lens.
Just north of the lighthouse is a building that originally housed the staff.
