This cache is part of the Mills Norrie State Park Winter Series 2018. Wood ducks are unusual because they can often be found perched in a tree – an odd sight to see. Males are very colorful while the females are drab brown, with a distinctive white eye-ring. They are cavity nesters, sometimes choosing a spot as much as a quarter mile from any water. They are rather shy, so you wouldn’t expect to find one at this busy location. You are looking for a small camoed tube.
