Another cache of the Agia Varvara Series
Agia Paraskevi means Holy Friday
The saint is believed to be the protector of the eyes. The believers bring wax figures as a vow when they have a health problem related to their eyes.
The chapel was build in 1903 by the old owners of the plot the family Kameni. Later on the family gifted the chapel to Agia Varvara village. It was renovated in 2012
The memory of Agia paraskevi is celebrated on July 26th
