I first found this "hollow" when searching for spots for the hiker geo-art. I was going to call the cache "Holtwood Hollow" when someone suggested it looked sort of like Dagobah - even with the snow. With the latest Star Wars movie opening this week, this title seems appropriate.
Container is nestled inside the tree roots. You do not need to climb on hillside at ground zero. It's along the Conestoga Trail. The approach will be steep but ground zero area is fairly level.
You can park on the south side of Route 372, but please be very careful. Be especially aware of the horses and buggies and the tractor trailers. Or you can hike down from the Arboretum area.
Congratulations to ka3upe for his daring FTF in the snow at sunset.
