I was up here on a beautiful winter day, and the high I went, the more beautiful it got. I got to this spot and looked out the car window, realising I was above the fog layer which has been plaguing the Magic Valley for the last week. I was truely amazed when I got up here. I saw the next peak over sticking up through a sea of white. I could see for miles, which is very different than what we see down in the valley, where right now we can only see for a few duzen to a few hundred feet. Where Twin Falls should have been, the wash just a wall of grey capped with clouds. The view from the location of this cache should be equally beautiful during the summer as it is right now. I'd say this is a destination cache. it's an easy 2 star, drive, followed by a short hike in the summer. and half a star in the winter. When I placed it, there was a smattering of snow of only about 1 inch. Any suv or truck should be able to handle this. Without a medium clearance vehicle, though, it would require a 2 mile walk.
