There's a souvenir available for anyone attending an event or finding a cache on New Year's Eve. Prior to kicking off those dietary resolutions how about coming along for breakfast or whatever other food takes your fancy at The Bransty Arch, Bransty Row, Whitehaven, CA28 7XE? Menus are available on the jdwetherspoon website. The official event will be from 09:15 to 10:00 although the crack might last longer over further coffees or other beverages. Please come along and share your caching resolutions for the year ahead, swap trackables or just talk about our shared hobby/obsession.
Copeland Borough Council is offering free parking in all its own car parks in Whitehaven between December 23 and January 01 - these are North Shore, School House Lane, Senhouse Street, Whitehaven Sports Centre, Copeland Centre and The Beacon. As it's Sunday there are also on street options e.g. along Strand Street.
