Geocache Description:

This cache was placed for the Metro Detroit
"HNY18 New Years Day Event" (GC7DCAT)

These caches were placed along a section of street that has

a very similar-look to the road known as Outer Drive.

It is believed that this section of Vassar was originally planned to be part of Outer Drive,

however, due to some planning changes, Outer Drive's route was changed,

leaving this section of Vassar as you see it today.

Instead of Outer Drive continuing past the Lodge

along the westward direction, it takes a turn to the South instead, just east of Schaefer Hwy.

This nice residential section of Vassar is what remains of that original plan for Outer Drive.

The hides should be very easy and quickly found.

Be aware of your surroundings, as always.
