This cache is at the posted coordinates. It's a challenge... with a bonus challenge.
My goal this year was to become a puzzle solver. I had only found 100 unknown caches at the start of this year; I just found them to be too hard! I didn't even try them, since I figured I wouldn't get anywhere. So, I set a goal: find twice as many this year as I had ever found, giving me 300 blue question marks. Amazingly, I did it and I learned so much!
There is a brute-force method down the hill to this cache, and a more labrinthian approach. I reccommend the latter. I love the symmetry with this path and my usual approach to solving a puzzle: I try one thing for a while, see that I don't get anywhere with it, so I head in a totally different direction... and so forth, until I find what I am looking for.
One of my favorite puzzles to solve is a field puzzle. Once you arrive at GZ, you'll have an extra challenge of getting the container open. As a reminder - you must sign the log in order to claim a find - if you can't get the container open, you cannot claim the find.
Many thanks for mc3cats and squirrel50 for the container. There is a geocaching patch awaiting the FTF'er.
To find this cache: you must have found at least 300 unknown caches.
- Previous finds count
- These can be puzzles or challenge caches: all that is required is the cachetype.
