Once again, December snuck up on us and I didn't get an event planned in time, so no geofamily picture in the middle of a parking lot in front of the christmas tree for the second year in a row - So sorry to those that were looking forward to it!!
Instead, this year I decided that maybe we should start a new tradition and just have a new years event after the hecticness of family and traveling and everything else. Please join us in the back room at Kings in Upper St. Clair on the first Friday of 2018! We will meet at 6pm and stay until at least 8pm. If you would like to eat or have dessert, you are responsible for your own bill, so please remember to pay before leaving. If you just want to come and hang out, that would be awesome too!
We will have some door prizes, a game and a white elephant gift exchange for those that wish to participate. I know you have that present that your crazy aunt gave you that you really have no need for, so wrap it up and bring it along - the funnier the better, just make sure it is family friendly!! If you are a little more serious, bring a geocaching related gift. Bring whatever you would like and we will pick a present one by one and then duke it out until the end. Everyone who brings a gift will go home with a gift...some a little better than others! And heck, whatever you get, if you aren't thrilled, just rewrap it and bring it back next year!
The restaurant has asked for an approximate headcount, so please get those will attends posted and let me know how many you thing will be in your party. Hopefully we have enough room for everyone...it has been a long time since we have held an event at this location. See you all there!
