It is fairly easy to recognise the effectiveness of a squad simply by their general posture and demeanor. An effective group of troops will look sharp, be alert, walk around and stand up straight.
Whereas troops that look scruffy, slouch and lay around alot, will undoubtedly be unorganised, slow to respond, and largely ineffective in the field.
Those caught laying around, or even sleeping on duty, can be charged with Dereliction of Duty. This carries serious penalities and consequences ranging from Court Martial through to being lined up and shot.
It was therefore with surprise that as I wandered up to the warzone GZ, in broad daylight with no hi vis camo, the only sentry on duty was lazily leaning over in the shade.
I have no doubt this member will be severly punished for this digression, but given the complete lack of opposition, I easily completed the task at hand undetected.
Bison placed, Northern Alliance SITREP updated, over and out.
