St Andrew’s and St Mary’s churches in Whittlesey town are medieval, dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries and both were restored during the 19th century. The spire of St Mary’s, a recognised landmark, can be seen for many miles across the Fens. St Thomas’, Pondersbridge and Holy Trinity, Coates are both Victorian churches and smaller in size than the town churches.
