The Lowell Snohomish River Road, generally just called the River Road, has been through lots of changes. It has flooded, parts of it have washed out, parts have been straightened, parts have been widened, but always it is a favorite way to get from Snohomish to Everett when you want to avoid Highway 2.
There is a nice walking trail on the dike by the river. There is another cache along the river too, if you want to go for a double.
This spot is busy during the salmon run so you may have to watch for pole toting muggles.
