Geocache Description:

La Chiesetta del Rosario

La chiesa del Rosario si trova nel centro storico di Thiene, nelle immediate vicinanze del Duomo e del Castello Colleoni. E' considerata la più bella chiesa di Thiene per la sua ricchezza di decorazioni e quadri.
Fu costruita sopra l'antica chiesa cimiteriale di San Martino risalente al XIV secolo, poi ricostruita in stile barocco, ampliata e decorata tra il 1660 e il 1690, ristrutturata nei primi anni del Novecento con l'abbattimento dell'antico portico di San Martino, dell'adiacente oratorio e con la ristrutturazione della facciata; lavori di restauro che l'hanno riportata all'antico aspetto che la vede semplice all'esterno, ma ricca di arredi al suo interno.
Di interesse artistico sono le decorazioni a stucchi e dipinti, realizzati da Ballante e Valentino Bassi, artisti thienesi del Settecento. Molto bella è la pala dell’altare maggiore, realizzata da Matteo Grazioli, (1590) della scuola dei Da Ponte, e l’ "Annunciazione" nella navata sinistra, della scuola dei Maganza (1509-1589).
Ammirevole inoltre l’affresco della "Madonna delle Grazie", realizzato nel Quattrocento, e la statua marmorea di San Giuseppe, opera di Orazio Marinali (1643-1720).

Come trovare la cache

Il 21 Dicembre di qualche anno fa in questa piccola chiesetta di Thiene ci siamo sposati, per questo motivo ci è molto cara e abbiamo deciso di nasconderci una cache.
Come in tutte le mistery alle coordinate indicate non troverete alcun contenitore. Per trovare questa cache occorre portarsi alle coordinate indicate e guardarsi attorno a 360 gradi per raccogliere i seguenti indizi:

A = Quante candele sono state accese per alla Madonna?
B = Quante persone pregano in chiesa?
C = Quante scale ci sono all'interno?
D = Quanti libretti dei canti "Gloria" ci sono sui banchi della seconda fila?

Raccolti questi dati non vi rimane che fare quattro conti per trovare le coordinate corrette, dove potrete cercare la scatolina!

Il contenitore è molto piccolo, non dimenticate di portare con voi una penna.

The Church of the Rosary

The church of the Rosary is located in the historic center of Thiene, in the immediate vicinity of the Cathedral and the Colleoni Castle. It is considered the most beautiful church of Thiene for its wealth of decorations and paintings.
It was built over the ancient cemetery church of San Martino (fourteenth century), then rebuilt in Baroque style, expanded and decorated between 1660 and 1690, renovated in the early twentieth century with the demolition of the ancient portico of San Martino, of the adjacent oratory and with the renovation of the façade; restoration work brought it back to its ancient appearance, which looks simple on the outside, but full of furnishings inside it.
Of artistic interest are the stucco decorations and paintings, made by Ballante and Valentino Bassi, artists from the eighteenth century. Very beautiful is the altarpiece of the high altar, made by Matteo Grazioli, (1590) of the school of Da Ponte, and the "Annunciation" in the left aisle, of the Maganza school (1509-1589).
Also admirable is the fresco of the "Madonna delle Grazie", made in the fifteenth century, and the marble statue of San Giuseppe, by Orazio Marinali (1643-1720).

How to find the cache

The 21 December of a "few" years ago in this little church of Thiene we got married, for this reason we are are very fond of this church and we decided to dedicate a cache.
As in all the mistery at the posted coordinates you will not find any container. To find this cache, go to posted coords and look around 360 degrees to collect the following clues:

A = How many candles have been lit for the Holy Mary?
B = How many people pray in the church?
C = How many stairs are there inside?
D = How many libraries of "Gloria" songs are on the second row of benches?

Collected these data you just have to do the math to find the correct coordinates, where you can look for the box!

The container is very small, do not forget to bring a pen with you.
