This cache has been reviewed and approved by Five Rivers MetroParks, Permit #GO4557.17 Cache is located about 15-20 feet west of the Adirondack Trail in an area that overlooks the east edge of Community Golf Course and just above S. Patterson Blvd. It is just a short distance south of the Stone Tower, sometimes referred to by long time residents of Kettering and Oakwood as the Witches Tower. All manner of stories have circulated about the tower. In the past few years, access to the top of the tower has been sealed off with concrete.
Parking is available at the Old Barn Camp to the south of the cache or at Paw Paw Camp along Deep Hollow Road. PLEASE NOTE: NO PARKING IS ALLOWED NEAR THIS AREA ALONG PATTERSON BLVD.
