This cache is placed in the middle of what was once known as Lassahn Field. This area was used for rec league soccer, , community carnivals, and annual Easter Egg Hunts. This CO played his first (and last) soccer game on the fields that used to be here. Perry Hall's 1976 USA Bicentenial Celebration was held here with a huge carnival (Ferris Wheel and all) and what residents have described as an "amazing" fireworks show. Perry Hall activists fought to have these fields purchased by the county for a community park. Many believe that politics and money conspired to allow the property to be sold, and in 1988 the development now known as Cedarside Farms began construction. As an aside, the same family associated with Lassahn Field also owns a Funeral Home not far away.
