Geocache Description:


It's a month since Christmas, it's Australia Day, there's a souvenir up for grabs, so let's have an evening event! The Isle of Man Yacht Club have made their Harbour Lounge available for us, nice and cosy on a winters evening. No special "entertainment" has been planned as yet, that may change as the date draws nearer. For the moment it will be us, a log book and the bar will be open. Bar opens 8-00pm, event finishes 10-00 pm, but we don't throw everybody out until midnight! As to supper, we plan on repeating the previously successful "bring-a-plate" or "pot-luck" method, everybody brings something and we mix and match. The club kitchen is available if anything needs heating, also for tea and coffee as needed. There is a barbie available outside, but you won't catch me using it on a January evening! Ample parking outside the club or on the boat park across the road. Bring your own kangaroo, wallabies accepted as reserves. The Harbour Lounge and the bar are upstairs, however there is chairlift on the staircase. There will be someone on site to carry a wheelchair upstairs if needed.
