Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home.
This cache is near the Villa Maria picnic area in Stevens Creek County Park. There is parking near the cache for a fee, or you can find lots of other ways to access this area through the myriad trails in the County Park. This cache is off an unofficial little secret path behind the picnic area. The GPSr always has trouble under tree cover, so a pretty decent hint is given below. Still marking a D=2 since it might be hard to spot.
