Geocache Description:

Go in search of conservation's secret weapon on Cumbria Wildlife Trust's Eycott Hill Nature Reserve to locate this cache.

A short walk from the car park at Eycott Hill Nature Reserve over uneven and sometimes wet, muddy ground (wellies recommended!).

A peaceful upland with spectacular views Cumbria Wildlife Trust's Eycott Hill Nature Reserve is the perfect place for a low level walk, family picnic, or wildlife adventure! In summer enjoy colourful wildflowers, spot beautiful dragonflies and butterflies,  and listen for the distinctive calls of lapwing, curlew and skylark, look for fantastic fungi in autumn, and keep an eye on the skies to see soaring birds of prey year round. You can also enjoy spectacular views of the northern Lake District fells from the viewpoint, learn about ancient volcanoes, and discover very special wetlands.
