I took piano lessons for years as a kid. I was pretty good at memorizing music, and learned how to play some difficult pieces. However, I never got the hang of sight reading, and didn't have the attention span to spend hours and hours practicing, which is what you have to do if you want to be any good. Still, every now and then, I'll sit down and play something, and I also developed a life-long love of classical music. As a matter of fact, just the other day, I went to a piano recital. It was an ambitious concert that featured some of my favorite composers. Afterward, I felt so inspired that I went out and hid a cache!
