Chip Off The Old Block
The cache is placed at a local land mark, the original home of Llanelli RFC, the Scarlett's "Stradey Park", or to give it its Welsh name, "Parc y Strade" first opened in 1879. It hosted its last match in 2008. Here heros have played and history was made. Memorable matches included the defeat of Australia in 1967 and New Zealand in 1972. ( I was there!) This cache was placed in memory of my father, " Dai Dogs" who was an ardent Scarlett's fan and was closely associated with the club. The site is now a new housing development, please carefully replace the cache where found and be stealthy as this is a high Muggle area! Easy parking for a cache and dash.
