The star ship USS Enterprise D has just left the planet Gamma Hydra IV following a week long observation. The scientists at the research station were conducting trials in artificial worm hole creation. They complied with every request but were eager for the ship and crew to leave.
Captain. I am picking up readings of a small rip in the space time continuum. Analysis of the data suggest that it is coming from early 21st century Earth.
This must be connected to one of their failed attempts at making a worm hole. Number One. Please organize a small party to determine the source of this hole. And see if it can be repaired.

Ensign. Take your shuttle craft thru the worm hole and get as close as you can to the location. Then use your hand held to track down the container. Report your findings as quickly as you can. And remember, don't let anyone see you.
