This cache is located on the Tomaree Coastal Walk between Boulder Bay and Big Rocky. The Walk has some spectacular views and interesting side trails, and meanders through a variety of coastal landscapes and vegetation. Parking and access is easiest from the Boulder Bay end where the Tomaree Coast Walk crosses Boulder Bay Road (about 200 metres from the end of Boulder Bay Road.)
The cache is an easy find.
It is well worth continuing past GZ to Big Rocky (approx 1.8 Kms). In the Depression era, Shell Grit was harvested from the Big Rocky area as immortalised by Arthur Murdoch in his book "Sheer Grit". "It was almost a sure thing because, Depression or no Depression, chooks need shell grit.."
Note: Vehicular access to Big Rocky is possible from Gan Gan road, however a four wheel drive is required.
Remember to bring plenty of water!
