Geocache Description:


Signal the Frog® is ready for a summer vacation. Yes, that’s right - he’s packing flip flops, snorkel gear, and many bottles of amphibian-proof sunscreen, because he is headed for Australia! We’re excited to share Signal’s next destination with you as he continues to celebrate geocaching around the world. Visiting Australia in the Southern Hemisphere, our favorite frog is planning to join the festivities and barbecue like an Aussie would do! You can take part in the celebration by attending an event on Friday, January 26 through Sunday, January 28, 2018 to earn the Australia Day 2018 souvenir.

Who: All Geocachers in Southcentral AK at the moment of the event are invited
What:Where in the world is Signal the Frog? Flashmob Event
When: 2 PM sharp
Where:The Listed Coordinates (Follow your GPS)
Why: Get the AUSSIE Souvenir-
PRIZE DRAWING ON-SITE!!
1:45 -1:59PM Cachers: Wait patiently in your automobile or stroll around the area.
1:59PM make your way toward the event coordinates.
2:00PM exactly (as determined by your GPS clock) we will place an ammo can for log sheets near the coordinates. As you arrive, we'll hand you an official event sheet for drawings . Participants must sign the sheets and drop them in the designated ammo can to be eligible for prizes (near the coordinates).
2:15PM we will gather and take a group photo.
2:20PM we will draw a name from the pool of sheets for the title of First to Find and draw for the door prizes.
2:30PM exactly the log sheets will be packed up and sealed away. The event area will be evacuated without a trace.
