"May those who walk this trail enjoy nature as I have" ~ Al Emerson, Camano's First Ranger 1952-1973
Beautiful and wild, mysterious and filled with life. A glimpse into how this part of the world looked many years ago.
Every animal has its place here, where it fits perfectly.
Listen carefully and you may hear birds singing.
A forest is an ancient place. When I’m there I feel it. I see it in old tree rings. It’s this place that makes me feel connected to something bigger. It’s like it makes me grow whenever I’m there. Grow like everything else in there. The forest makes my mind clear.
