Taneleer Tivan, aka The Collector, is one of the Elders of the Universe. He has a vast knowledge of alien worlds and technology. In addition to collecting devices and artifacts from other worlds, he has a collection of alien beasts that he can unleash upon his enemies. In film, The Collector was played by Benicio del Toro and first appeared in Thor: The Dark World.
