[EST] Selle aarde peitmise mõte tuli, kui sattusin kord inglisekeelses Vikipeedias juhuslikult ajakapsli artiklile, mis algas sõnadega "A time capsule is a historic cache...". Kui ajakapsel on aare, siis võib ka aare olla ajakapsel! Oleme ju kõik näinud telerist, kuidas mõnele uuele hoonele nurgakivi panemisel müüritakse sisse ka ajakapsel, mis tavaliselt sisaldab ajalehti, münte ja muud ajakohast. Üsna vähesed meist on aga saanud ise ajakapslit müüri seest välja võtta. Siin on nüüd selleks võimalus. Ajalehtede ja müntide asemel mahub sellesse 1-2 väiksemat rändurit. Selle peamine eesmärk on aga rääkida, millise objekti sisse on ajakapsel müüritud. Nagu aardest ikka, leiad sellest ka logiraamatu, pliiatsi ja teritaja. Pärast logimist müüri ajakapsel järgmiste leidjate jaoks ilusti uuesti ära.
[ENG] An idea to hide this cache came when I happened to read an article about the time capsules on Wikipedia. It started with words "A time capsule is a historic cache..." If a time capsule is a cache, then a cache can be also a time capsule! We all have seen on TV how a time capsule that usually contains newspapers, coins etc. is put in a corner stone of a new building.
