This geocache is placed here in memory of Christine Skubish whose story touched many lives after her car crash on June 6th, 1994 in which she perished and her son Nick survived for 5 days and who was found by a El Dorado County Sheriff Deputy after a series of unlikely events pointed the way to finding Christine and her son. Nick survived and his story is something of a miracle. This story was covered on the show Unsolved Mysteries and Paranormal Witness.
This geocache is placed not too far from the crash site and we have placed this geocache in a very safe location about a mile from the crash site.
Again, parking is well off the road and the GPS coordinates are pretty spot on. The hint is very clear and you should be able to find the cache without too much trouble.
