Signal the frog’s next destination as he continues to celebrate geocaching around the world is Australia!
To celebrate Australia Day 2018, Groundspeak are issuing a special souvenir for everyone who attends an event on 26, 27 or 28 January 2018. As we have a brand new venue in Burwell, what better way to celebrate than to meet up and for us all to gain our souvenir?
Where: In the Elk Coffee Shop, The Causeway, Burwell, CB25 0DU
What’s the connection between elks and Australia, you may ask?
Well there is a species of elk called the Sambar (or Ceylon elk - Cervus unicolor) which lives in Australia!
When: 11.30am - 12.30 (noon-ish).
What to do: Wear or bring something Australian (if possible). We will bring a logbook and TB basket, and will try and bring a selection of TB’s for discovery and swapping.
Come and sign the log, swap TB's, chat, have a drink or snack (optional).
Parking: There are some parking spaces in Newnham Lane or on-street on The Causeway.
