This cache will show you a hidden piece of history known as the Century Mine. On the way you will pass some old ruins. Before the fires in 2006 there were walls and a roof of a hut but not much has been left behind. Information is limited in regards to this mine but can be found on some detailed paper maps and now via Geocaching. If anyone has any more information about the Century Mine please feel free to share in your log. You will cover approximately 1.2 km each way, so enjoy the walk and take in the historic bushland surroundings along the way. Please take plenty of water and always remember slip slop slap.
