Geocache Description:


Schrödinger's Cat is a thought experiment devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger.

It illustrates one interpretation of quantum mechanics as applied to everyday objects, by presenting a scenario in which a cat sealed inside of a box, may be simultaneously both alive and dead.

The characters on "The Big Bang Theory" discuss this experiment in a number of episodes, but it's too much for me.

Today is the anniversary of Schrödinger's death in 1961.
