In January 2016 this area was devastated by a bushfire. The Preston Phoenix cache series will repopulate the greater Preston Beach area with caches. Stay tuned for the rest over the coming year.
This cache is a 350ml sistema with some light cammo. It is in the base of a tree, not too hidden as you're not likely to stumble across this area.
As you turn off the main road towards Martin's Tank Campsite, you'll see a small sandy parking spot on the left hand side of the road (in front of the "Booking Required" sign) Pull in here and you're only a couple of metres away.
