What makes this one special is a technical novelty: We are hoping to link up with an event in Krefeld, Germany (GC7GXGX), where it is not only winter and probably VERY cold, but it is also Saturday morning. Yes, we are 10 hours ahead of our play mates in the other hemisphere. So, if you are keen to meet fellow cachers whom you would otherwise be unlikely to meet, try our direct line (Signal permitting)! 7pm in Geelong on the Barwon (or, Grovedale on the Waurn Ponds Creek), 9am in Krefeld on the Rhine.

Come and be social, meet some local cachers, but also some who are overseas. Brush up your German skills or wait for the German teams to wrap their brains around some Strine. The park has all that is needed for a geocaching event: car parking, picnic tables, a rotunda, grassy areas, trees, playground and toilets. There is even a BBQ if you still have some bangers left.
