Wells of all shapes and sizes can be found in Cyprus, some believed to be the oldest in the world dating back to the Stone Age.
More modern examples are popular in parks and gardens and this one is the fourth in the series.
The location of this cache is just outside the village of Peristerona.
Although the coords take you to the well, the cache is not to be found on or near the well itself but within 5 metres.
There is a picnic and kids play area close by and parking next to and opposite the well.
Take time also to enjoy the area, especially the museum in the nearby village of Steni.
The cache is a film canister containing only a log book, so please bring your own pen.
These new canisters have very tight lids, please replace securely.
Please bring your own pen and replace exactly as found.
