Der Dreilindenpark (umgangssprachlich auch «Konsipark» genannt) ist mit einer Fläche von 35'000 m² der grösste öffentliche Park in der Stadt Luzern. Geschichte: Elenora Cenci, Fürstin von Vicovaro, (geb. Lorillard Spencer) erwarb das Grundstück 1890 und liess es 1890/91 nach Plänen des Architekten Edward Heweston als Englischen Landschaftsgarten bebauen. Die Anlage umfasst im Gartengelände die schlossähnliche Villa «Vicovaro», ein Ökonomiegebäude, ein Pförtnerhaus sowie eine künstliche Torruine, verschiedene Marmorskulpturen und eine Grotte. Auf einem Hügel östlich der Stadt Luzern gelegen, bietet sie einen weiten Blick ins Alpenpanorama. 1923 wurde sie an das Ehepaar Kiefer-Hablitzel verkauft. Diese vermachten das Grundstück später der Stadt Luzern, die die Gebäude ab 1952 als Konservatorium nutzte (seit 1999 Teil der Hochschule Luzern – Musik).
The Dreilindenpark (colloquially also known as the "Konsipark") is the largest public park in the city of Lucerne with an area of 35,000 m². Story: Elenora Cenci, princess of Vicovaro, (née Lorillard Spencer) acquired the property in 1890 and had it built in 1890/91 to plans by the architect Edward Heweston as English landscape garden. The complex includes in the garden grounds the castle-like villa "Vicovaro", an economy building, a gatehouse and an artificial Torruine, various marble sculptures and a grotto. Located on a hill east of the city of Lucerne, it offers a wide view of the Alps. In 1923 she was sold to the couple Kiefer-Hablitzel. They later bequeathed the property to the city of Lucerne, which used the building as a conservatory from 1952 (part of the Lucerne School of Music since 1999).
