Pokey is pleased as punch to present you with a perfectly placed package positioned in the proximity of a potential pond. The Red Trail was part of a reclamation project on September 30, 2017 to celebrate National Public Lands Day. Pokey's Pal tdb1977 organized a CITO event in conjunction with REI, Trails Pittsburgh, and Allegheny Parks and many local caching groups also joined in. There were various projects to be completed. Pokey and Big D volunteered to participate in the closing of the old red trail and making a vernal pond to help support future habitat. When you arrive at the cache location look downhill several feet and you will see Pokey's Pond.
