Looking at my caching karma recently, combined with my recent (thanks to Geocaching!) love of exploring all the Bay Area trails compelled me to give back. So I'm creating this Johnny Appleseed series, sprinkling caches all along the trails closest to home. Glad to have Little Phlopper helping me on this round of sprinkling!
This cache is near the Villa Maria picnic area in Stevens Creek County Park. There is parking near the cache for a fee, or you can find lots of other ways to access this area through the myriad trails in the County Park. My GPSr was a bit off in this section, so I'm leaving decent location hints in the text, or in this case the cache title. Who doesn't love a good Spoonerism? This cache is about eight feet outside the view point trail end fence, but should be pretty reachable. Watch your step, though, the slop is a doozy. Adding an extra 0.5 to D and T for the reach. Please make sure it is not visibly obvious when replacing.
Congratulations to NoBigDipper for another JAS FTF!
Good luck, enjoy the trail, and remember it is good to give back!
