Jims Corner is resting place to be found on the Bridle Track that follows the coastline and offers great views of Norfolk’s northern islets.
- Moo-oo was named after the moo-oo grass that grows on that islet;
- Green Pool is so called because of the permanent pool of green water lying half way up its die;
- Cathedral Rock – when viewed from the sea, the soaring hexagonal basalt columns really do inspire reverence;
- Elephant rock – this one goes without saying!;
- Bird Rock is named for the many sea birds that use it as a nesting site.
Jims Corner is named for Jim Wolferstan who was long term worker for the Australian National Parks & Wildlife Service (now Parks Australia). Jim passed away in 2001 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
