If you have answered yes to some of the above, then this event may just be for you. Criffel, rises out of the Solway, and dominates this part of Dumfries and Galloway. On a clear day the views are great : The Galloway Hills, Lowther Hills, Moffat Hills, North Pennines, Cross Fell, Cumbria, Skiddaw and Blencathra. Though to get up here, does mean an ascent of approx 500m in height, to reach the site of the event, which will be at the Trig Point. The Trig Point has a height of 569m. The event will take place from 1200 to 1230, 03/02/2018. Come along, have a chat, eat your butty, exchange trackables, and enjoy the banter.
Please note, that this is not a guided walk up or down Criffel, you need to be physically able to get up and down, be able to navigate your way, and you should come prepared for the worst that Scotland can throw at you.
