My family and I placed this cache after a fun day of ice skating and hiking across the frozen lake to find a geocache at the nearby Prince Gallitzin. I brought my family over here for a short hike because I used to hunt in this area when I was younger. I remember the deer would move to the park during the day and then just after dusk you’d see them crossing the fields from the park back into these woods
Cache is a PB jar wrapped in green duct tape. Starting off with a logbook, pencil, pencil sharpener, few small trade items and a unactivated BigFoot geocoin for the FTF. Placed on a winter day when the creek was frozen. Terrain may raise in the summer months. Come out in the winter to enjoy this beautiful location with the snow and evergreens. Cache is in state game lands. Please wear appropriate orange during the hunting seasons.
