Enjoy a spectacular scenic drive through the park to the Nature Center parking lot, where you’ll start your short stroll to Thoreau Lake to search for this hidden cache. Blendon Woods is home to the 118- acre Walden Waterfowl Refuge that provides sanctuary for hundreds of birds, ducks and other wildlife, as well as a Disc Golf Course, a Natural Play Area featuring a zipline through a wooded ravine, and a flock of gregarious wild turkeys.
