From this vantage point you can see not only the friendliest rowing club on the Thames Tideway (Putney Town) but also the beach Oxford and Cambridge crews disembark after their epic race. As the race progressess the support crews put rows of light or dark blue welly boots out- depending on who is leading, this can change many times during the race- and is best viewed from the friendliest rowing club on the tideway's balcony!
