Geocache Description:

Cards on the Table is a mystery with a difference as there are only 4 possible suspects from the outset. According to the author's foreword this was one of Hercule Poirot’s favourite mysteries to solve, although Captain Hastings found it quite dull when it was recounted to him. Christie said she would leave it up to readers to decide who they agree with. :)

This is another cache in the popular Agatha Christie Series by Mrs SAROC. No mystery to determine the coordinates this time around, the cache is right here.

Cards on the Table was Christie’s 20th book and originally published on 2 November 1936 in the UK.  It is the 13th time Hercule Poirot has appeared and the first novel to feature Ariadne Oliver.

The host of a dinner party is murdered in full view of a roomful of bridge players. What began as an absorbing evening of bridge was to turn into a more dangerous game altogether for the host and his 8 guests…

The Four Detectives

  • Superintendent Battle, a top detective from Scotland Yard
  • Colonel Race, a debonair Secret Service agent
  • Ariadne Oliver, writer of popular detective fiction
  • Hercule Poirot, the famed private detective

The Four Suspects

  • Dr Geoffrey Roberts, a successful physician
  • Mrs Lorrimer, a well-to-do widower
  • Major Despard, a dashing explorer
  • Anne Meredith, a young woman

Who do you think the murderer is?

There is room for small items of swag and trackables. As always please be careful with muggles observing you hunting out the cache and signing the log - a properly equipped cacher always caries their own pen or pencil.

Usual logging requirements please, you must sign the logbook for each individual geocacher otherwise your log may be deleted. It would be appreciated if you would please rehide the cache how you found it, hopefully tucked away, as we really don't want it to get muggled.
