The Marvel Geocaching Universe (MGU) is a collection of geocaches that are named in tribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All of the characters these caches are based on belong to Marvel Entertainment.
Geocachers Assemble! This is Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. You are currently taking part in the Civil War route of the Marvel Geocaching Universe. Civil War has broken out and has split The Avengers into fractions over the disagreements over the Sokovia Accords. During the event of the Avengers’ Civil War, we meet new people, each with their own abilities, skills and a geocache in hand.

Sharon Carter is the great niece of legendary S.H.I.E.L.D. founder Peggy Carter. Following in her aunt's footsteps, Carter became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who had briefly worked undercover as the neighbor of Steve Rogers under the direct orders of Nick Fury. She fought on the side of S.H.I.E.L.D. during the Battle at the Triskelion, facing off against Brock Rumlow to protect millions of lives. In the aftermath of the HYDRA Uprising she was forced to then leave S.H.I.E.L.D. and instead joined the CIA. She continued to have a close relationship with Rogers and sided with him when he chose to protect Bucky Barnes from the government she still worked for, indirectly sparking the devastating Avengers Civil War.
About The Geocache
The container itself is a micro magnetic. It contains only a log book. Your own writing device is required to sign the log book. You may post photos in your logs but please, no ‘post-credit’ spoilers
Why not take part in the rest of the route along the Grand Union Canal? Remember to take care whilst geocaching and keep an eye on small children if they are caching with you. The canal can be dangerous.
