BSA Series: Star Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BlackJack: Well like all good things, they must come to an end. I had a lot of fun creating the BSA series and I think it has finally reached it's peak. So with that being said, it's time to pull this one off the grid in order to create a clean canvas for new caches to be placed. I'll be retrieving the containers within the new few days Thank you all for visiting. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did. This area will be open to others who wish to hide their own caches.

On a positive note, I have a new idea for a cache series that I'm naming, "Improvise It" (still working on the title). It's gonna be a string of makeshift containers made from random items that you wouldn't normally use for caches. I'm looking forward to it and anyone is welcomed to participate. Perhaps there could be prizes for the craziest yet very cool containers. This will start once the COVID pandemic calms down.

Stay tuned!

Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache of a new series dedicated to the Boy Scouts of America

There is a total of 7 ranks one can achieve in Boy Scouts. They are:

  1. Scout
  2. Tenderfoot
  3. Second Class
  4. First Class
  5. Star
  6. Life
  7. Eagle

This series will contain a total of 7 caches with each one dedicated to a scout rank. The higher the scout rank, the higher the difficulty.

Fifth Rank: Star

This one likes to think of itself as a Master of Disguise. Do you have what it takes to uncover this little hidden gem and become a Geocaching Superstar? We shall see…

Just a quick note. Please refrain from using spoilers in your posted logs. That way, we can keep the challenge fun for everyone. Thanks!

=================UPDATE=================

Due to a large number of DNFs, I've decided to bend the rules of the Boy Scout Geo Code, and up this one to a 5 star. I know it's not following the flow of this chain of caches, but it just seems like the right thing to do. Espeically since it took me, the CO, over 20 minutes to find it.

Yes, the cache is there. I promise :-)
