Ceresole Reale (Ceresòle in piemontese, Cérisoles in francoprovenzale) è un comune italiano di 165 abitanti della città metropolitana di Torino situato in alta valle Orco, in Piemonte.
Il nome probabilmente si riferisce alla presenza in zona, anticamente, di una foresta di ceresiolae, ossia piccole ciliegie.
Il comune di Ceresole Reale è situato ad un'altitudine di 1.620 slm e fa parte della Comunità Montana Valli Orco e Soana e del Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso; nel territorio comunale vi è ubicata la stazione meteorologica di Ceresole Reale.
Ceresole è l'unico comune italiano, insieme a Venaria Reale a poter fregiarsi del titolo Reale.

Ceresole Reale (Ceresòle in Piedmontese, Cérisoles in Franco-Provencal) is an Italian town of 165 inhabitants of the metropolitan city of Turin, located in the upper Orco valley, in Piedmont. The name probably refers to the presence in the area, in ancient times, of a forest of ceresiolae, or small cherries. The municipality of Ceresole Reale is located at an altitude of 1,620 asl and is part of the Mountain Community Valleys Orco and Soana and the Gran Paradiso National Park; in the municipal territory there is located the meteorological station of Ceresole Reale. Ceresole is the only Italian municipality, along with Venaria Reale to bear the name "Reale", meaning Royal.
This is a great vantage point over the lake and surrounding mountains.

Der Name bezieht sich wahrscheinlich auf die Anwesenheit eines Waldes von Ceresiolae oder kleinen Kirschen in der Antike. Die Gemeinde Ceresole Reale liegt auf einer Höhe von 1.620 m ü. M. und gehört zu den Tälern der Berggemeinschaft Orco und Soana und dem Nationalpark Gran Paradiso; Im Gemeindegebiet befindet sich die Wetterstation von Ceresole Reale. Ceresole ist die einzige italienische Gemeinde, zusammen mit Venaria Reale, die in ihrem Namen das Wort Reale, also königlich trägt.
Dies ist eine großartiger Aussichtspunkt über den See und das umliegende alpine Amphitheater.
