San Andrés is situated in the northeast of La Palma. The historic quarter of San Andrés is made up of cobbled streets and houses displaying typical local architecture. One of the oldest churches on the island, San Andrés Apóstol, can also be found here (built in the 16th century). On the coast you can bathe in Charco Azul natural pools or at Puerto Espindola beach. The Cementery is worthwhile to visit. The cache is on the GR 130.
San Andrés ligt in het noordoosten van La Palma. Het straatbeeld wordt bepaald door nauwe met kinderkopjes geplaveide steegjes, fraaie Canarische herenhuizen, machtige palmen en kleurrijke bloemperken. In het centrum is de Plaza de San Andrés, een met grote palmen omgeven plein. Naast dit plein staat de 16de eeuwse witte kerk San Andrés Apóstol. Tussen San Andrés en Charco Azul (natuurlijk zwembad) is er een mooie boulevard aangelegd. Buiten het centrum is er een mooie begraafplaats aan zee. De cache ligt aan de GR 130.
