Grosvenor & Hilbert #2
Welcome to Grosvenor and Hilbert Park; Tunbridge Wells’ oldest municipal park opened in 1889 on the site of the old Calverley Water Works. In 1931 a farm was annexed to make the park we see today. This is the 2nd cache in the series designed to take you on a tour of the park which has benefitted from a Heritage Lottery Fund grant. Suggested parking and access is in Auckland Rd or Hilbert Road which are largely free of double yellow lines. See map below.

The listed co-ordinates take you to The Ancient Woodland interpretation board in Roundabout Wood. If you are in a wheelchair or have a buggy you should approach this stage from the west along the boardwalk by the stream and exit the same way.
Read the information on the board.
