The Happening is a monthly event for cachers in the Beds, Herts and Cambs area. February's event will be held at The White Horse in Foxton, on Thursday 15th, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. All cachers and friends are welcome!
If you're been to one of these events before, then you know the drill. If not -- we are a friendly bunch of people who welcome both old and new faces at our monthly pub meet-ups. We talk about caching, but also about plenty of other stuff, so don't worry, you won't be forced to listen to people recounting their finds all evening. You're free to come to as much or as little of the meet-up as you like -- Ben, the event host, will be there all evening. We have some tables reserved -- just look for the brightly coloured Happening ammo can on our table (and probably a variety of GPSs and other devices).
Parking is available at the back of the pub (and also on-road outside). There are a couple of real ales available (and a very friendly pub dog), and although the pub does not normally serve food during the week, the landlord has kindly offered to cook us some pizzas if we would like them (normal pub prices -- around £10 - £11 for a 12" pizza, depending on toppings). We'll order when we arrive. If you don't like pizza, sorry -- you may just have to forage for roots and berries or something.
