Geocache Description:


The snowy owl is the one bird I have always wanted to spot but just never have. I saw in an online birding group that a snowy owl had been seen numerous times at Waukegan Beach so I came this morning with my geo/birding mate Twigwig. It was very cold so we were so happy when we exited the car and immediately saw the snowy fly by. We tracked it to a nearby building and saw it land. Perfect!! We walked toward the building and got a great view and some neat photos. Success!!! I hid this cache to celebrate the find.
