After successfully signing the log hung off a 40 foot tether dangling below a helium blimp hovering over Antarctica for The “Find 19 Caches in the former CCCP Republics hidden by CO’s with the symbol for Boron in their geonicks and ON THAT SAME DAY IN JANUARY attend 8 Events in Delaware hosted by Guys Named Jim while wearing a Unicorn Onesie Challenge”, we wondered…
What tricksy, arduous, grueling adventure could we come up with? How could we Challenge our friends, novices and veteran connoisseurs alike? It hit us – thus The Moiety’s Dreadfully Challenging Challenge!
So the Moiety really put our heads together (and the coconut-like sound of their heads colliding secretly delighted the bird) and came up with something truly perplexing!
*** Cache is at the posted coordinates, but there are ten requirements that must be met prior to logging this cache ***
Here are our exacting, almost impossible qualifying criteria. ALL TEN CRITERIA must be met or your log will be IMMEDIATELY DELETED! Appeals will be rejected!
1 – YOU MUST HAVE USED … a Pen, Pencil, Crayon, Blood, OR Mud to sign A Log!
2 – YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… one of the following cache types (Traditional, Unknown, Multi, Event, Earthcache, Virtual, MEGA, CITO, Wherigo, Webcam, Lost and Found, HQ, Block Party, Lab, Locationless, Lost and Found event, Giga, GPS Adventure OR A.P.E.!) This cache counts towards meeting this Dreadfully Challenging Challenge Criteria – should you be hard enough to qualify!
3 – YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… either a Micro, Small, Regular, Other, Not Chosen, Large OR Virtual Container!
4 – YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache located within the Geopolitical boundaries of Earth, or one of its orbiting or submerged subsidiaries.
5 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache locatable on a date on the Gregorian Calendar!
6 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache with a D / T Combination!
7 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache appearing on a Jasmer Chart, i.e., a cache hidden in at least ONE of the months since Geocaching began!
8 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache placed on ONE of the 366 Days of a Year! (see criteria 5 to double-check your qualification to hunt this Challenge!)
9 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache hidden by a Cache Owner with a consonant, vowel OR number in their GeoNick!
10 - YOU MUST HAVE FOUND… a cache while breathing a combination of nitrogen (78.09%) and oxygen (20.95%), argon (0.93%), carbon dioxide (0.039% as of 2010) and other trace gases (0.003%).
